Back to bed, people.

I've been working on my posters, based around Dave's Leicester Comedy Festival where our course is holding an exhibition named, 'Life is Tweet' based around.. comic tweets! This is my quote poster based around tweets from parody account, @queen_uk. I still have my summative assessment to go, so I may make adjustments.

Have a cuppa, read a magazine.

Mock-up of university-based branding project, Mon Cherie- Macaron Café.

Bonjour! I've kind of lost direction when it comes to my blogging ways, it's all over the place at the moment. But, I do know that it's time to start recording my visual diary more often as a Graphic Design student. Admittedly, I've always been a little bit here and there when it comes to that. Snap out of it.

Here is some prototypes of work I did before Christmas. This macaron project was one of my main briefs last term, on top of another two projects. I had a formative assessment based around it in December, so I was given some feedback- I need to revisit this project before final hand-ins in May. But it's very tricky, when I've just been given briefs for three brand new projects. That's third year life for you.
I really wanted to brand a Macaron store after my Erasmus year in Paris and seeing the hype surrounding Ladurée and perhaps seeing a gap in the market (Heck, I even did an 3,500 worded essay on Macarons!) I decided it would be a fun project to explore. These prototypes are literally first drafts, so my maca journey is far from over. Not to mention, I have several more deliverables to think about; business cards (actually, I have done several business cards but silly me left them at home) menus, leaflets, packaging... etc. In the meantime, I'm on a macaron related break.

Essay thumbnail. It was a long 'un.
